Nubra Valley

This valley is located between shyok and nubra river 150 km south of the leh town you it has many places of interest like.

The Diskit monastery

It’s located at a 8 hour drive from khardung la. A Beautiful Monestry located in the desert area facing the shyok river. Its a very serene place which will win your heart once and for all. You can feel the spiritual influence of the monastery everywhere you’ll go here. Its one of the oldest and the largest peace house in the ladakh region. It was built in 1420 A.D. It’s located on the summit of a hill and is occupied by the Yellow Hat Tibetan Monk Sect.  Karakoram range is visible from here, and looks really beautiful from up there. There is a very big statue of Maitreya buddha placed on a hillock, famous sightseeing place in the monastery.

Pangong

A High Grassland Lake which is a terminal basin type lake where water only comes in and goes out only via evaporation. Located at an elevation of around 4500 m. This blue crystal clear lake is a place where lifetime love stories can start. Not a part of the indus river system, pangong lake has its own tributaries feeding it. Just imagine a star studded full moon night at ths place.

Shanti stupa

Built by a Japanese Buddhist monk Gyomyo Nakamura in the year 1991 as a part of his peace pagoda mission on an idea proposed by a Buddhist monk of high stature in 1914 . It’s a lovely place surrounded with supernatural views.

Leh palace

It’s a building of monstrous proportions built by King Sengge Namgyal in the 17th century. Modelled after the Potala Palace in Lhasa. This palace will leave you amazed with its royal corridors and huge storage rooms. It looks very beautiful from far away especially at night under the glow of Halogen Lamps

Thikse Monestry

It’s a Tibetan Gompa which affiliates to the Gelug sect of Tibetan Buddhism. It also resembles the Potala Palace in Lhasa just like the Leh Palace. Located 19 kilometres east of the leh town. This place is known for the 12 storey building complex filled with wall paintings of Buddhist gods and goddesses. Also, known for its diverse architectural stupas to the famous thangka paintings.

Hall of fame

Is dedicated to the Martyrs of Indian Army who lost their lives during India’s Conflicts With Pakistan. Consisting of two storeys, the top floor has the war memorabilia of majorly the kargil war. Has actual weapons used during the Kargil war, and some war documentation as well.

Shey

15 Kilometres to the south of the Leh Town. It was the summer capital of the Ladakh Province in the past. After spending an ethereal day exploring the humongous and picturesque corridors of the monastery and the grand shay palace. You’ll probably would want to sit inside the highest cafeteria in the world and take a sneak peek of the mother earth from the highest window available on earth. While reminiscing what an amazing time you’ve had so far.

Upshi

Located 47 kilometres towards southeast of Leh. Upshi is a beautiful village and is also a famous road junction. With its captivating beauty. It will sure leave you speechless. Is also a very beautiful village enjoy yourself here and you can have some excellent leisure time here by gazing at the beautiful mountains while hiking through the beautiful village.

Magnetic Hill

On the way to leh is the magnetic hill it’s a place that defies gravity. There are two theories

Zanksar

At this place we lend you in the hands of a mountainous furry beast called the Zanksar Range. It’s the sub-district of the District Kargil of Kashmir. It’s a mountain range with a myriad of difficult terrain types plus some dramatic weather jolts. As the average elevation of Zanskar Range is 6000M(19700Ft). Plus the temperatures can drop quickly owing to such high elevation. Rock climbing at Zanskar is on the hitlist of many Rock Climbers from over the world. The Zanskar Trek is a charm in itself.  Zanskar River– Famous for its notoriously wild flavour the waters of zanskar river are also known for river rafting. River rafting in the zanskar river is made easy, as our expert trainers will mission brief you before you set out on the expedition.
