Kullu Manali

Manali Elevation: 2050M

Located north of the Capital of the State Shimla, is the Valley of Gods named after The Sage manu, Manali. A beautiful tapestry of snow capped mountains that can lay a spell on you.

Rohtang Pass

Rohtang pass is the gateway between Kullu ,Lahaul and Spiti Valleys. Amongst the Pir Panjal ranges, its located north of the Manali Town. Rohtang pass has a fair amount of adventurous opportunity for the real seekers of adventure. Like taking a quick-fast ride through the snow covered Rohtang Pass on a Snowmobile.

Solang Valley

Located 14 kms northwest of the manali town is a gorgeous valley full of adventurous activity all around from zorbing, ATB Rides on solang valley’s lush green turf itself. Paragliding in Solang Valley is a worth having experience because you get to admire the beauty of the valley from the birds eye view. During winters one can enjoy skiing here as well. Alpine Premier League is an international skiing competition which started here at Solang Valley and is the main reason for the attraction of foreign tourists.

Hidimba Temple

Built in 1553 AD by Maharaja Bahadur Singh as a dedication to Bheem’s Wife Hidimba. Its has three timber tiled levels with a conical metal roof on the top. Walls are plain mud but at places are covered with some stone work bringing out the majesty of the big wooden entrance. On the beams up top the wooden entrance, are some beautiful depiction of ‘Navagrahas’ the female dancers.


It’s a gurdwara located at the banks of river parbati famous for its hot water springs. It has many other temples in the premises aswell viz. Ram, Krishan, Shiv, Vishnu . The water of the manikaran hot springs is known to have some therapeutic effects aswell.



The oldest democracy in the world this village stands high atop the hills towards the north east of kullu valley. Its been said that the village was settled by the remnants of the Alexander’s army and also that the residents of malana are direct descendants of the Aryans. It has a demographically unique language and thrives on the marijuana trade. You are not allowed to touch anything inside of the village perimeter. Its famous for the malana chandrakhani trek.


Kheer Ganga

14 km trek from tosh one of the most ethereally beautiful valley to kheer ganga a beautiful place in its own right. Filled with beautiful scenery this place will give you a trek to remember. Kheer ganga is a place where lord shiva meditated for 3000 years. Houses a milky watered pool known to have healing properties. It’s the starting point of the pin parvati pass trek.

Bijli Mahadev

22 kms from kullu across the beas river Bijli Mahadev can be reached by a relaxing trek of 3KMS. The 60 ft high staff shines like the north star in the sky. Whenever the lightening strikes the shiv linga , the shattered pieces of the shiv linga are restored by the priest with the help of sattu and butter.

Manu Temple

Located 3Kms north west of the Manali Town. Only temple dedicated to Manu the creator of the human race, also the writer of manusmriti. Lord Manu Meditated at this very place for the very first time, and the place itself is surrounded by some pretty dense forests.


A small village located to the left bank of river beas towards rohtang pass. Vashisth Temple in the village  is dedicated to the sage vashisth , has hot water springs in it as well.

Parvati Valley

A road enters at the confluence of river parvati and the river beas at bhuntar taking you through beautiful places along the way like kasol, manikaran, tosh, malana and opens up in a beautiful valley. You’ll find a lots of hippies here if you’re into hemp products sure you will love this place. Parbati Valley is a trekking hotspot with any trekking trails like Chandrakhani Pass Trek, Pin Parbati Pass, and Kheer Ganga Trek
